Baking and eating are by far my favorite hobbies. As I finished up my senior year at Penn State, I was looking for another outlet to express my inner foodie and voila; Christine gets a blog. Even now, as a recent college graduate, having another hobby to balance out my CPA studying and preparing for the “real world” is definitely necessary. The main purpose of my blog is for sharing my recipes and recent sweet creations with all of you as I experiment with my favorite ingredients! When spending hours upon hours on Pinterest, I wonder how realistic some of the too-good-to-be-true pictures are. Some of my recipes and creations seen on my blog are inspired and more realistic renditions of some of those pins you have on your boards, but have never quite been able to execute.

However, in 2013 and as I continue to grow up, I have realized the importance of staying healthy. Now I know what you’re going to say, “but Christine I would rather have a cookie instead of a salad”. For those of you skeptics out there, have no fear; there are healthy recipes that can taste good too! So aside from the brownies and other sweet treats that I can’t get enough of, I will also be sharing some healthier alternatives to your favorite snacks and foods that you will also love to eat! 🙂

  4. Hey Miss Chris,
    I’m happy that you took my blog post with the right frame of mind and reference. Like I said in the post, I know that some people feel the need for low-carb or even no-carb meals. Usually this is the result of living a sedentary lifestyle in combination with high calorie low nutrition fast food mentality. I very seldom use anything out of a box or can and make everything we eat from scratch. Please take the time to read some of my other rants and feel free to ask me about anything food related.
